College emails are a constant in the lives of many high school students.
Colleges try to force connections with any and every student they can get without any concern as to if they are actually interested or not. These emails, of course, are not popular at all among the general high school population. At Badger Boys State, however, these same students are given the chance to connect with colleges on their own time and terms.
On Friday morning in the Willmore Center assembly area, a college fair was held. Over 20 colleges of varying natures attended.
Among the institutions in attendance were both public and private schools all over the state of Wisconsin, with a few making the trip in from neighboring states as well. In addition to regular four-year schools, there were also a multitude of U.S. Military academies, including the Naval Academy and the Air Force.
Events like this are very helpful to prospective college students. Communications between colleges and students are wide open, and any question is on the table.
In a time of stress, attending events like a college fair can alleviate stress and help students learn more about various aspects of a lot of different schools in a short amount of time.
