The Walker County Nationalist Party Caucus on Sunday night was disorganized and seemingly unrestrained.
The level of independence granted to the county delegates from the cities of Dewey, Farwell and Barstow seemed to be overwhelming to the county delegates. Initially, county party nominations had been smooth, but still ended up being sluggish and loud.
As county party committees were conducted, the committee lacked the adequate number of delegates. With all of that said, there exists a strong core of delegates within the county party.
Select individuals had shone through the cracks and I witnessed a glimpse of the potential that the Nationalist Party has for county office. Ethan Swanson, a county delegate for the City of Dewey, had a few insights on the proceedings of the meeting.
He perceived the events optimistically, stating that the caucus was overall effective, but that it could definitely improve. He said that through more meetings and through allowing the Walker County Nationalist Party Chairman more opportunities to gain experience, the proceedings of the Walker County Nationalist Party would steadily improve.
Off the back of Jack Duffy, the Party Chairman, the Nationalists of Walker County will be molded into a competitive choice for the county elections coming up on Tuesday.
