By Gabe Dickens  | City of Rusk, Carpenter County

Chris Bowler is from Lake Geneva and attends Badger High School. He is a Badger Boys State citizen from the City of Hoard in Carpenter County who is running for Mayor and hopes to later also run for Governor.

Bowler is part of the recently decided nationalist party with the slogan, “Back the blue.”

Currently, Bowler is working with other individuals in his party to get over the debt within the City of Hoard. Bowler has been described by his party members as a charismatic individual who is gaining popularity among members of his party.

Currently, he is trusting in a few advisors on issues of budget within his circle. Some of  the individuals include Kaumudh Sinde, City of Hoard in Carpenter County, and Nathan Sonntag, City of Hoard in Carpenter County.

Bowler has discussed his platform with his fellow party members which is as follows:

Taxes

Bowler is intent on cutting taxes for individuals. Some may show disagreement on this cause, but Bowler is undecided on his exact policies for this for now. When questioned on his tax policies for the rich, Bowler said, “what are the limits?”

At this point, Bowler indicated a concern for at what limit the rich would no longer be taxed.

Climate change

Secondly when confronted on issues of climate change, a prevalent issue on everyone’s mind, Bowler indicated that he would assign scientists to research limiting carbon emissions and putting money into research. Bowler feels that more research must be completed on the topic in order to make a determination on his stance.

Meritocratic Capitalism

Bowler is intent on establishing a meritocracy where people have a chance to make their way up. Bowler is a self proclaimed free market capitalist.

Education

Bowler felt that start times for schools should be pushed later in the day allowing for more time to sleep for students. This would allow students to perform better during the week, allowing them to improve their skills this week.

Bowler is also intent on eliminating standardized tests. He believes they are a simplistic way to measure a student’s capabilities and do not accurately reflect a variety of personality types.

Lastly, he vowed to create an evaluation of student loans based on the types of universities students are attending.

“ The nicer the building, the nicer the cost,” Bowler said.

Drug Epidemics

Bowler believes that drug addictions come from a hole in someone’s life whether it be a death, or other prevalent issue. Therefore, one of his policies is to send caravans intro drug infested cities to counsel drug addicts.
