Citizens get hyped for critical Game 6 of NBA finals

One win away from the first NBA Championship in the 24 year history of their program, the Toronto Raptors are headed to Oracle Arena in Oakland, California to play in front of what will doubtlessly be an ecstatic Warriors’ crowd.

With Kevin Durant out, the other Warriors’ superstars, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, will have to perform on a level yet to be seen.

Tonight’s event will be the last NBA game ever played in the historic Oracle Arena. The Warriors, like the Bucks a year ago at this point, are expected to move into a new arena, the Chase Center, next season.

Game six of the NBA Finals airs on ABC tonight at 8 p.m.

Badger Boys State citizens have mixed emotions about how Game 6 will turn out.

“I think the Warriors will play well through the first 3½ quarters of Game 6, but the Raptors will go on a run,” Simon Baker, a citizen in the City of Thompson in Howe County, said. “The Raptors will win Game 6 on the road, closing out the series.”
