“Ye Ye Save the Bees” rings out as Doolittle Nationalists elect Party Chairman, develop platform
By Jacob Prado | City of Ludington, Doolittle County
Sunday night during the county party caucuses, the Nationalists of Doolittle County came together to vote on a Party Chairman as well as to establish their party platform.
Nicholas “Charlie” Dedinsky, City of Ludington, was elected as party chairman and he led the rest of the meeting and helped develop the county party platform.
During the meeting, many good ideas and values were put out into the table and discussed among members for a part of the meeting.
Dedinsky helped the group narrow down the ideas and values of brotherhood, education and efficiency. These three core values help define the platform, the groups ideas and the slogan which directly incorporates all of the values.
“Ye Ye Save the Bees” was the final slogan with the “BEE” standing for the group’s main values of brotherhood, education and efficiency. Some of the group’s main ideas include establishing better communication between everyone with a focus on the athletic director, making shower times more efficient and earlier and finally making everyone feel better about their experience by educating them more through a group news website or wall.
While the Nationalist established their party platform, the Federalist also met to establish their party platform.
I approached some of these members who told me that they came up with their slogan in addition to some ideas. The City of Ludington’s Federalists came up with “The Ludington Feds Bring Home the Bread” but I was unable to get comments on the countywide slogan. They also have many different ideas similar to the Nationalist Party, but they seem to lack the leadership that the Nationalist have under Dedinsky.
As the week goes on remember the ideas that were made a part of the platform for the Doolittle County Nationalist and how they are much more organized.
In the end, remember “Ye Ye Save the Bees.”
