The gubernatorial race heated up last night at the Nationalist Party Convention as prospective nominees were given the opportunity to speak to hundreds of citizens about the platforms they represented and the issues they found important.

“Excellence is not my goal; it’s my tradition,” candidate Zach Olstinske said at the Convention.

Olstinske’s campaign, like those of many other nominee hopefuls, focused on practical reform for the State of Badger with an emphasis on team building, cooperation and opportunity.

Other Nationalist candidates lead campaigns based on the typical values of their party: education, healthcare, and leadership.

Candidates Dylan Bradley, Aaron Dorf, Paul Treml and Evan Hein hoped to secure primary votes with their passion for politics and high-energy speeches. “You are entrusted with the power to vote,” Hein said. “I want to help every one of you to find your voice.”
